Competition News from the December meeting:-

 

The Christmas Fun Day at Upchurch River Valley was won by Nick Carter with 40 points, with Roy Dennis coming second with 39 points. Well done!

 

Rob Moloney won the Archie Samson Trophy for the best points total across the 5 par 3 holes at the Christmas Fun Day with 12 points. In second place were Nick Carter and Mick Sims with 11 points.

 

Mark Hopkins won the 2008 Knock Out Competition beating Bert Styles in the final.

 

The 2008 Strokeplay Competition has now been decided with Mick Pressland winning the A Competition, and Tommy Hastie Snr winning the B Competition.

 

Competition News from the November meeting:-

 

Well done to Bert Styles on Winning the 2008 Putting Competition at Redlibbets (11/11/2008) with 30 Putts.

 

The 2008 Stableford Competition has now been decided with Tommy Hastie winning the A Competition, and Nick Carter winning the B Competition.

 

November saw the culmination of the Points Competition with Tommy Hastie winning the A Competition with 84 points, and Mark Hopkins winning the B Competition also with 84 points. Well done!

A v B Knock Out Competition. The results were as follows:-
