Christmas Fun Day Results:-

 

Congratulations to Cliff Riley who won the Christmas Fun Day Competition, and to Robbie Burns who won the Par 3 Competition.

 

The "Yellow Ball" Competition was won by Mick Tingley, Martin Whelan, Martin Naylor, and Robbie Burns - with 41 points. Well Done!

 

The winners of the Stapleford and Stroke Play competitions have now been updated on the "Winners" page.

Here are the A Team v  B Team competition results:-

 

Nick Isom beat Mick Tingley 2 &1

Nick Carter beat Roy Dennis 3 & 1

Bert Styles beat Phil Swaine 2 & 1

Nigel Palmer lost to Rob Burns 2 & 1

Dave Reid lost to Martin Whelan 4 & 3

 

Therefore the A Team won 3 matches and the B Team won 2 matches. Well done to all those that played in the competition.

Handicap News from the AGM

 

It was agreed that handicap cuts would continue the same as last year with -1 shot being cut for winning a competition       (-0.5 for handicaps less than 10) and +0.5 being added for not winning and playing over your handicap.

 

We have 4 new members (welcome all), who have been slotted into the A & B teams according to their hadicaps.

 

Please let Bert have your £25 membership subs ASAP as he needs the money to book the 2009 venues.
